Is This Car Right For my Trip?

This model has been specifically modified to have comfortable space for your entire crew. Built up on a Nissan or Toyota Hilux, it gives you absolute peace of mind as your larger group roams the stunning scenery on your safari.

DO YOU:

  • Have a party of 6-7 people (including the driver)
  • Want a spacious, reliable vehicle for comfortable group travel and safari viewing
  • Prefer to keep the group together, rather than split into multiple vehicles and shell out the associated costs
  • May venture into light to moderate off-road conditions but prefer to avoid the most extreme terrains

The 6-7 seater has been purpose-built with this in mind, and we are one of the few to offer it to you on a self-drive basis.

It is great for:

  • Long highways and city streets
  • Long gravel and corrugated roads
  • Muddy or uneven backroads
  • Basic rocky terrain and shallow river crossings, such as venturing off-road in Damaraland (but not for advanced 4WD rock maneuvers without prior experience)
  • Basic loose sand and desert tracks like Sossusvlei (but not deep sand in remote areas like Sandwich Harbour or the wider Skeleton Coast without prior experience)

BENEFITS

People choose the extra-seating 4WD vehicles because one larger vehicle ends up far more cost-effective than renting two vehicles, without compromising on space or comfort. In addition, groups will rather experience their safari moments together, rather than split up.

Being at its core a Toyota Hilux or Nissan model you get a tough, reliable, and comfortable vehicle for cruising long roads, as well as venturing off-road.

  • Versatility to handle tough terrain: With part-time 4-wheel drive, low range, diff lock, traction control, and robust 17” tyres, it confidently tackles loose sand, mud, and gravel, though deep sand in remote areas like Sandwich Harbour requires extra caution and experience.
  • Safe clearance: High ground clearance (approximately 286mm) ensures rocks, ruts, and rough tracks won’t damage the underside.
  • Solid distances made easy: Dual 80L fuel tanks provide an impressive 1500km range, ideal for Namibia’s vast landscapes. Cruise control and an automatic gearbox make highway drives smooth and relaxed for larger groups.
  • Your comfort: Modified to seat 6-7 passengers comfortably, with air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, and a radio/CD player/USB for an enjoyable ride. Spacious cabin and cargo area for luggage ensure group comfort.
  • Peace of mind: Airbags, ABS brakes, traction control, and 24/7 emergency medical response ensure safety for all passengers in remote areas.
  • Travel extras included: Unlimited kilometres, two spare tyres, a cooler box for drinks, GPS tracker, and 24/7 roadside assistance for a hassle-free group adventure.

FINAL THOUGHT

In short, if you have a group of up to 7 and want the peace of mind of a tough vehicle (or the option to go off-road), these purpose-built models have you covered.
